Pre WWII Boxed Benjamin Model 117 “Grass-Hopper” Lever Air Pistol

This is a Benjamin Air Rifle Company Model 117 .177 pump up pneumatic pistol.  In very fine to near excellent condition this combination rod-at-the-muzzle / lever hand “grass-hopper” pistol retains about 80-85% of the original black finish with excellent wood grips.  Built between 1938-41 it still functions properly and fires a pellet well after several pumps.  It comes in the original cardboard box with a later copy of the original instruction sheet and an original full box of Benjamin high compression pellets.  An great looking and fully functional example of these neat pre-WWII pellet pistols.
