Pre-War Winchester Model 42 Slide-Action Shotgun 2nd year Production 1934
Serial #10673, .410 Bore (3"), 26" barrel choked FULL and an excellent, bright bore. This is a very handsome 1934-made shotgun that has 92-95% of the original blue remaining on the metal, with some silvering at the muzzle, along the high and exposed edges, and on the slide arm on the left side. The 18-groove walnut slide is in very good shape with small handling marks and blemishes scattered about, as well as some mild flaking of the varnish in a few small areas. The walnut pistol-grip buttstock matches the slide with small handling marks present throughout, and an intact Wincheter hard rubber buttplate with only minor wear and some white mildew within the checkering. The action functions smoothly and flawlessly, and the shotgun rates fine plus overall. FFL or C&R
