Rare Custom Order Winchester 45 Gatling Blank Ammo Full Box 25 Rds.

This is a full box, 25 original rounds of .45 Gatling blank black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester for the US Model 1874 Gatling Gun in .45-70.  These were made for training crews, military expositions and certainly for Hollywood.  The two piece buff box has 95% intact buff wraparound label with 3-14 date code and a white and red over-label stating “THESE BLANK CARTRIDGE ARE NOT REGULAR-SPECIALLY LOADED TO ORDER”.  The labels have excellent crisp graphics with some minor age soiling missing a small piece on the left side.  The box has a solid bottom with top section having seam separation on the sides.  The cartridges are in excellent condition.  An interesting and rare piece of ammunition history.
