Rare Hollow Point! Winchester 50-110 Express Smokeless Ammo Model 1886

This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .50-110 Express smokeless ammunition manufactured by Winchester with the very rare Soft Point Hollow Point bullets.  While not specifically called out on the label we have discovered that this was the correct box for the early hollow point bullets that Winchester introduced.  The square corner box is the late 1890's (1896-1898) first smokeless loading labeling.  The box is solid with professional repairs to the inside bottom section only and the top only having a very slight crush on the bottom right corner with slight age soiling overall and some mild ghosting on the exterior.  The top label has excellent graphics with a very nice cartridge cut and very good color.  One side yellow sunburst Smokeless label is missing.  The cartridges are all in excellent condition and appear native.  A very rare box on its own in a very desirable 1886 rifle caliber with the very desirable jacketed hollow point bullet loading.
