Rare Swiss-Made SIG-Sauer P220 Pistol (Geneva Police)

Serial #G132156, 9mm Para., 4 1/4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a "MONTAGE SUISSE" marked pistol with Swiss firing proofs, Geneva cantonal seal on the left front of the slide, and no US import markings. The pistol has matching numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel, with the metal retaining 70-75% of the original matte blue finish with silvering along the high edges and some areas of holster wear as well, most noticeably along the top of the slide, and on the left rear of the slide aft of the serrations. The checkered black plastic grips are in fine shape with only some minor wear and very little flattening of the points. These Geneva Police guns also feature the sheet metal heel magazine release shield, identical to those found on P220s issued to Swiss Customs personnel. This example comes with a single original magazine, and rates very good-near fine overall. It is a very seldom-seen pistol in the US. FFL
