Rare Winchester 1 1/2” Punt Gun Empty Cartridge Market Hunting Cartridge
This is a very rarely seen single empty cartridge for 1 ½ inch market hunting punt guns. The empty paper hull with brass base shell was manufactured by Winchester with a “WRA New No.4” marked primer. It measures 4” tall and is just over 1.5 inches in diameter with a plain tan paper top wad. In near excellent condition the brass shows a nice dark patina and the paper hull is solid. A rarely seen massive punt gun cartridge.
