Excellent Case Color Remington Model 6 Falling Block Boys Rifle 32 RF Mfg 1927
Serial #435710, .32 Short/Long Rim Fire, 20 inch round barrel with a near excellent, bright bore with light roughness. This is the Model 6 Take Down Rifle manufactured by Remington in April of 1927. The boy's falling block action rifle remains in excellent condition with the barrel showing about 94-96% of the original blue The with some thinning on the underside and scattered tiny freckles. The frame has retained nearly all of the original color case-hardening, and the trigger guard, hammer, and breech-block are likewise in excellent condition with only minor finish loss evident and a few minor freckles. The walnut forearm and butt stock rate excellent, solid, with only minor handling and blemishes and finish wear near the tang and some very small chips where it meets the steel Remington butt plate. The action functions properly and has a crisp trigger. These rifles are fairly common, but finding one with nearly all of the original finish remaining is quite difficult. This example rates excellent overall. FFL or C&R
