Rare Remington Model 1871 Rolling Block Pistol in .32 S&W Caliber
NSN, .32 S&W, 8" heavy barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a non-US inspected pistol that has an added barrel the same length and width as the original .50 caliber barrel. The frame retains about 80-85% of the original bright color case-hardening that blends with lightly freckled gray-brown metal on the balance. The block and hammer have retained most of an added straw finish, while the trigger has bright fire blue remaining. The walnut forend and grip are in fine shape with only minor handling marks and small surface blemishes scattered about. The action is solid and fully functional, with a rifle style front sight blade and fixed rear barrel sight as well. This is an excellent, period rechambered Model 1871 Rolling Block pistol, and would make a nice addition to any collection. Antique
