Remington UMC 1911 Split Logo Issue 22 Short Ammo W/Merger Insert
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .22 short Lesmok ammunition manufactured by Remington UMC as part of the first 1911 Split-Logo issues. The two piece, round corner green box with red, black and white labels with edge and side rub wear with an excellent primary label with crisp graphics and a nice cartridge cut having most of the side label missing. Included is the original insert with the announcement of the merger between Remington and UMC – an important piece of ammunition history! The cartridges are in near excellent condition with some varying amounts of age darkening and oxidation of the bullet lube. Identified as REM-1 S-2A in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference based on the original Dunn classification system.
