Stembridge Gun Rentals 38 Short Colt ½ Load Black Powder Blanks

This is a full box, 50 rounds, of ½ load .38 Short Colt Black powder blanks.  The Red and Green Rem-UMC box has been overlabeled with the classic Stembridge Gun Rental logo having crossed Thompson Machine Gun and Musket.   Produced at the height of Hollywood Western Movies this box was made for the ever expanding television and motion picture industry and “Stembridge Gun Rentals” was the major supplier to Hollywood of guns and ammunition..  The box shows handling and storage wear with the side over-label partially loose.  The cartridges are “REM-UMC 38 SH COLT” headstamped with a mixture of inside wads printed either “1/2”, “1/4” or red sealed and are in very good condition with age darkening.    A unique piece of Hollywood film history with a great looking label that will display well.
