Scarce 4 Gauge Remington UMC Shotgun Shell Fired Orange Paper Hull
This is a single fired 4 Gauge collector cartridge manufactured by Remingon UMC. The paper hull and brass base shell is marked “REMINGTON / UMC / No 4” and measures 3 1/8 inch long with a diameter of about 1 inch. The once fired shell is in excellent condition showing some age darkening of the brass. A massive shotgun shell that will dwarf others in a display of REM-UMC or general shotgun shell collections that harkens back to the days of market hunting waterfowl guns.
