Scarce Bar Anvil Primed 50-45-400 Cartridge Navy Cadet Remington Rolling Block Ammo
This is a single collector cartridge .50-45-400 manufactured by Frankford Arsenal for the 1867 Navy Cadet Rifle, Rolling Block Action by Remington. The Bar-Anvil primed, copper case cartridge measures 1.296” with a round nose lead bullet and shows the characteristic tool marks on the bottom. In excellent overall condition the case shows spots of age darkening fresh from the original package. A scarce early round made for a brief time before 1868 when Benet priming took over.
