Scarce Winchester Cartridge Adapter 32 Win Special to 32 Long or 32 Short Colt
This is a scarce, early Winchester Repeating Arms Company cartridge adapter for the .32 Winchester Special rifle to fire .32 Long or .32 Short Colt. In excellent condition the nickel plated converter is marked “WINCHESTER REP. ARMS CO./ PATENTED AUG. 22. 1899” and “.32 WIN SPECIAL. USE .32 / LONG OR .32 SHORT COLT.” In excellent condition there is a slight indent along the bottom edge.
