Sealed! Winchester 38 Long Rim Fire Black Powder Rifle Ammo Model 1885

This is a full and sealed box, 50 original rounds, of .38 Long RF black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester circa late 1880's.  The early two piece box has “Rifle Cartridges” designation with the early incorrect Stetson's patent date of Oct. 24 1871 and was made for the Model 1885 single shot rifle with the listings dropped from the catalog in 1887.  The labels are fully intact with some minor rub wear with near excellent graphics showing an excellent cartridge cut. The box shows seam separation along the top edge and with minor shelf wear and some pencil writing along the side.  An overall near excellent example that will display well.
