Gevelot Paris 4 Gauge Empty Primed Paper Shotgun Shell

This is an empty, primed 4 Gauge shotgun shell with paper hull and brass base manufactured by Gevelot in Paris.  The massive, unused shell measures just shy of 4” in length and is 1.02” in diameter.
