Small Frame First Model Baby Hammerless 22 Short Revolver C&R

Serial #936, .22 Short, 1 5/16 inch barrel with a very fine bore with one spot of roughness.  This is an early Small Frame, First Model Baby Hammerless that has the headspace adjustment screw below the cylinder pin which was eliminated after 1910.  Also visible is the circle along the back of the frame where the hole was milled through to allow for the passage of cutting tools working on the inside frame and the barrel since it was an integral part of the first solid frame.  In excellent condition the double action only, folding trigger revolver retains about 94-96% of the original bright nickel finish with some loss in the cylinder flutes and just forward of the breech.  The original birds head mother-of-pearl grips rate about excellent with a small chip along on the right panel.  Mechanically it functions properly with correct timing.  A neat little pocket pistol.  Please also note that we have the excellent Frank M.
