Stevens Visible Loading 22 S,L,LR Slide Action Rifle C&R

Serial #F351, .22 S,L,LR, 22 inch barrel with a fine dark bore with strong rifling and slight roughness.  This is the Visible Loading pump action rifle manufactured by Stevens from 1907-1930.  In very fine condition the barrel and magazine tube retain about 85-90% of the original blue with scattered light use marks.  The frame is mostly silver gray to plum-brown with trace amounts of original color and the sliding breach block showing much of the original case-hardened colors.  The forearm and stock are solid with older scratches and contusions with the original hard rubber butt plate showing a small chip in the top.  It is sighted with the rear sporting and Rocky Mountain front sight along with a Marbles combination tang peep sight.  The action functions properly with a smooth slide and crisp trigger.  A very fine Visible Loader not often found in relatively high condition.  FFL or C&R
