Unfired Taylor's Pietta 1851 Navy Buntline 44 Cal. BP Percussion Revolver

Serial #669237, .44 Caliber Black Powder percussion, 10 inch octagon barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Buntline model of the 1851 Colt Navy revolver manufactured for Taylor's by Pietta in Italy.  The unusually long cap-and-ball revolver is in excellent, unfired condition with only handling and storage marks on the barrel, frame and cylinder.  The hardened steel frame show excellent case-hardened colors and is suitable for the 45 LC / 45 Schofield  conversion cylinder offered by Taylor's.  The grips remain in excellent condition.  An unusual replica variant made in limited quantities.  Antique
