Very Fine Parker Trojan 16 Ga Shotgun Built 1929 #1 Frame

Serial #231935, 16 Gauge (2 1/2 inch chambers), 28 inch Trojan Steel barrels choked Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified with an bright, excellent bores that have a small patches of roughness on the left tube about 1/3 up from the breech.  This is the Parker Trojan shotgun built on a #1 frame in 1929.  In very fine to near excellent condition the barrels retain about 85-90% of the original blue with some scattered freckling, tiny use marks and two tiny patches of field nicks on the underside of the barrels about 4 inches from the muzzle.  The frame of this non-ejector is mostly gray with perhaps 10-15% of the original case-hardened color in protected areas, especially under the lever and the trigger guard has about 60% of the original blue with the balance toning from plum brown to gray.  The walnut stock has been shortened and now sports a thick, well fitted red rubber recoil pad.  The wood surfaces show older use marks and contusions but are solid.  Mechanically it locks up tight with barrels on face with lever resting just slightly right of center and has crisp trigger pulls.  All numbered parts of this correctly match.  The LOP is 13 ½” with drops of 1 7/8” and 2 ½” respectively.  A great looking Parker Trojan that would be an absolute pleasure to take hunting.  FFL or C&R
