Very Late Production Colt Army Special Revolver in .32-20
Serial #589611, .32-20 (.32 WCF), 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver was made in 1935, eight years after the Army Special model had been formally renamed the Official Police by Colt (At Serial Number 540000). This revolver retains 95-97% of the original brushed blue finish with some mild silvering at the muzzle and on the high edges. A mild turn-ring is present on the cylinder and some very faint freckling is present on the sides of the spur. The checkered wood grips show moderate wear and flattening to the points, and a very small triangular chip is missing from the toe on the left panel. The action lock-up is tight and functions flawlessly in both single and double-action. This is a very late production Army Special marked revolver, and is in very good-near fine condition. FFL or C&R
