Very Nice S&W .32 DA 4th Model Revolver with Original Box
Serial #231686, .32 S&W, 3" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few spots of mild freckling along its length. This revolver was made ca. 1900 and has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, latch, and ejector. The metal retains 97-98% of the original nickel finish, with some scattered specks of dark surface freckling scattered about, mostly on the frame and cylinder. The hammer and trigger have bright original color case-hardening remaining, with a commensurate amount of the original blue remaining on the trigger guard and barrel latch. The checkered hard rubber grips are original, numbered to the gun on the interior, and are in fine-near excellent condition with only very minor handling marks and flattening of the points. The lock-up is rock solid and the action functions flawlessly. The revolver is housed in a correct original box with intact end label and only minor damage to the corners and edges. This is a great looking top-break DA S&W, and rates excellent overall. FFL or C&R
