Vintage Audley Patented Colt 1911 Leather Flap Holster

This is a vintage Audley Patented Colt 1911 45 cal. brown Leather Holster with a patent date of October 13, 1914. This holster is in very good condition with signs of field use, normal scuffs and scratches with excellent hardware. This holster has a 1910 hanger system with a modified belt loop on the back for a 1 1/4" belt. The leg strap holder has been removed and replaced by a rivet. The retention devise is fully functional but the leather is stiff and will need working on for a 1911 45 to slide in and out easily. Still a nice holster for the collection.
