Vintage Bartram & Belcher Leather Wrap Powder Flask Fire Proof Marked

This is a British made tin or botty metal gun powder flask, measuring 8" overall with a Patent fireproof, adjustable measuring spout, top with rotating powder door still works fine with an outside fireproof spring. The adjustable charger has 3 different notches for powder charge size, 2 1/2- 3 grams. This example is marked "Bartram & Belcher" "Fireproof"on the top and "Bartram & Belcher" on the side of the charger. The body is wrapped in leather with no rips or tears with excellence stitching and dates to around the 1850's-60's. This flask is described in "The Powder Flask Book" by Ray Rilings on page 392 #1089.
