WWI Australian P 1907 Enfield No.1 Bayonet-Scabbard Lithgow
This is a British Pattern 1907 first model made by Lithgow in 1917. The 16 3/4" blade is in very good unsharpened condition with light oxidation and nearly unmarred edge and bent tip with a slight blued line near the ricasso. The guard shows signs of normal wear and some oxidation marked S909. The handle scales are matched in size with a medium patina with dings and scratches on both sides. The tang and screws have light scattered oxidation. Lastly ending in a functional rifle lug pommel with light oxidation and marked 96S09. The scabbard is Lithgow marked and in very good+ condition with nice dark leather with tight stitching and light surface oxidation.
