WWII Era Remington Woodsmaster Model 81 Semi-Auto Rifle 30 Rem Mfg 1941

Serial #13118, .30 Remington, 22 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Remington Model 81 Woodsmaster semi-automatic rifle manufactured in 1941. The WWII era rifle is in excellent condition with the barrel and frame showing about 85-90% original blue thinning on the high edges and a spot of missing finish just forward of the forearm with scattered mild scratches and use marks. The hardwood stock and forearm are solid with some very fine surface wood grain cracks just behind the tang, scattered contusions, use marks and light finish loss. It has the original butt plate and sling swivels. The action functions properly with a strong spring and nice trigger pull. A great Model 81 Remington. FFL or C&R
