Weatherby Variable Imperial 2x- 7x Scope Made In Germany

This is a 50's era, Weatherby Variable Imperial scopes made by Hertel and Reuss in Germany. The scope is in very good+ condition with bright, clear glass, Post & Crosshair reticle, focusing adjustment works with light signs of use. Marked "Made in Germany 7442" on the bottom. As is very common with these scopes the power ring is not free moving but has slight movement, normally fixed with a heat gun loosening the old grease. This has a set of unknown rings mounted and comes with the original leather caps, also marked made in Germany.
