Winchester 45-70-405 Black Powder Extra Heavy Solid Head Ammo Trapdoor

This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .45-70 Govt. black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 405 grain bullets.  The two piece square corner box has date codes of “5-17” with call out as “U.S. GOVERNMENT STANDARD FOR TARGET USE.”  The labels are fully intact with excellent graphics and color showing only very minor age soiling and a professional repairs on the inside bottom seams as well as a couple on the top.  An excellent WWI era box of 45-70 ammo that would look great on display with a Trapdoor rifle.
