Winchester Model 1890 Take Down Pump 22 WRF Built 1910

Serial #435863, .22 WRF, 24 inch octagon barrel with a good frosted bore with good rifling.    This is a Winchester Model 1890 takedown rifle, third model,  manufactured by Winchester in 1910.  In very fine to near excellent condition the barrel and frame retain about 85-90% original blue that has silvered on the high edges with some areas of surface pitting on the left side of the barrel and on the receiver.  The stock and forearm are both solid showing scattered contusions and scratches under a later added Varnish layer.  The action functions properly with tight lock up and crisp trigger pull.  A very nice 1890.
