Winchester Model 94 Carbine Transitional Eastern Carbine with SRC Hole
Serial #1041218, .32 Winchester Special, 20 inch Nickel Steel barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is a Winchester Model 94 Saddle Ring Carbine that had a factory plug installed and shipped as an Eastern Carbine. This could be a transitional gun being built in 1929 when Winchester started to phase out the SRC. It is in excellent overall condition the barrel and magazine tube retain about 90-92% of the original factory blue with about 80-85% on the receiver which is rarely seen on these 1920's era guns. The walnut stock and forearm are solid with some very mild use marks and contusions. The metal butt plate is mostly a plum-brown fading to silver on the high edges. It is sighted with a flip-up ladder rear sight and a Marbles Sheard front sight. A high condition example of a Transitional Carbine. FFL or C&R
