Winchester Model 94 Legendary Frontiersman Commemorative Rifle With Box And Papers

Serial #LF18072, .38-55, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. These rifles were issued in 1979 to commemorate the pioneers who explored the West and has retained virtually all of the original blue on the barrel, magazine tube, lever, trigger, hammer, and crescent buttplate. The forend cap and engraved frame retain a commensurate amount of their original silver plate finish which has developed a blue-black tarnish over the years. A single barely discernible scratch is present on the left side of the frame. The nicely figured walnut stock and forend exhibit almost no handling marks or blemishes in the original varnish. The rifle is housed in the original styrofoam box with printed sleeve, and comes with the original papers and hangtag. This is an excellent, virtually unused Legendary Frontiersman Model 94 overall.
