Full Box Winchester 40-65 Black Powder Ammo Model 1886 Rifle 260 Grain Bullet

This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .40-65 black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 260 grain lead bullets.  The two piece, round corner box, circa 1903,  has call outs for the Winchester Model 1886 and single shot rifles.  The box is in very good condition, solid with intact top and side seal labels showing overall age soiling and some flaking.  The graphics remain legible with a very fine cartridge cut that bears the call out fo the Model 1886.  The cartridges are in excellent condition.  A very good box that would look great with a “salty” old 86 for display.
