Winchester Cartridge Adapter .30 Gov't Mod 06 to 32 S&W Smokeless
This is a scarce, early Winchester Repeating Arms Company cartridge adapter for the .30 Gov't Model 1906 (.30-06) to fire .32 S&W Smokeless. In near excellent condition the nickel plated converter is marked “WINCHESTER REP. ARMS CO./ PATENTED AUG. 22. 1899” and “.30 CAL. GOV'T. MOD. 06. / USE .32 S&W. SMOKELESS.” The case is slightly deformed at the mouth with a small nick and a slight indent along the rim.
