Black Powder 1890's Winchester “Picture” Box 32 Central Fire (32 S&W) Ammo
This is a full box, 50 rounds, of .32 S&W ammunition (marked .32 Central Fire) manufactured by Winchester and dating to the late 1890's. The half-split “Picture” box features a top break Smith & Wesson revolver with specific S&W call out “Expressly for SMITH & WESSON New No. 32 Cal. Central Fire Revolver.” The side label features an endorsement from Smith & Wesson dated August 1st, 1898. The primary label is intact with excellent, crisp graphics with slight flaking and the orange side label is about 90% intact. The box is solid with slight edge wear and expert inside repairs to the separated side seams. The cartridges are in very good to excellent condition with some age darkening of the cases. A beautiful early picture box perfect for the Winchester Ammunition collector or to pair with your early S&W revolver.
