Excellent Early Winchester 1890's Full Square Corner Box 40-60 Central Fire Ammo

This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .40-60 black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 210 grain lead bullets developed for the model 1876. The circa early 1890's square corner box has the early “Central Fire” wording with a head stamped cartridge wood cut on the primary label. In excellent overall condition the green and and black top and side label have crisp graphics with some edge and corner wear with a few staining spots. The box is solid with a very slight upper right crush and the cartridges are in excellent condition. An excellent Winchester box in a scarce caliber.
