Excellent Sealed! Winchester 38 Long Rim Fire Black Powder Rifle Ammo Model 1885

This is a full and sealed box, 50 original rounds, of .38 Long RF black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester circa late 1880's.  The early two piece box has “Rifle Cartridges” designation with the early incorrect Stetson's patent date of Oct. 24 1871 and was made for the Model 1885 single shot rifle with the listings dropped from the catalog in 1887.  The labels are fully intact and this example remains in excellent condition with crisp graphics showing an excellent cartridge cut. The box is solid with slight age soiling.  An overall excellent example box.
