Winchester Model 52 Target Rifle Made in 1936
Serial #33426, .22 LR, 28" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1936-made, Speedlock-equipped rifle that has a matching numbered bolt. The metal retains about 92-95% of the original blue finish with mild silvering at the muzzle, as well as along the exposed edges and surfaces. Further gray fading is present on the bolt handle. The rifle is outfitted with a globe front sight and has the original rear flip-up target sight fitted, but the aperture is no longer present. Scope blocks are present on the barrel. The walnut stock is in fine shape, with only some minor handling marks scattered about the original oil finish, although there is some minor oxidation on the checkered steel buttplate. The rifle comes with a single original magazine, and is also fitted with a US Model 1907 leather sling with aftermarket "Keeper’s Keeper" spacer installed. This is a very nice Model 52, and is is in very good-near fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
