Wyatt Earp Schofield Replica Non-Firing Pistol by Franklin Mint
This is a fully functioning, but non-firing of live ammunition, replica of the Smith & Wesson Schofield revolver built with the same look, feel and weight of the real revolver. It was sold by the Franklin Mint as the “Wyatt Earp” and originally had a wall mounted hanger with plaque (not present). The top break single action opens functions like a real pistol with a blocked cylinder and firing pin that does not extend through. In excellent condition the engraved metal frame and cylinder show only light handling with a slight turn ring. The grips are likewise excellent with light use marks on the bottom edge. It has a serial number on the bottom of grip strap of 20029. This would make a great display item that could be left out without worry. Non-Gun.
