S&W K-38 Target Masterpiece Revolver 1950s

Serial #K93301, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an early 1950s revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor. The metal retains 97-98% of the original blue, with some mild silvering along some of the high edges, a faint turn-ring on the cylinder, and a few specks of plum-brown flaking on the yoke hinge. The hammer and trigger have most of their original color case-hardening remaining, with some gray fading along the edges. The checkered, diamond-center grips are numbered to the gun on the interior, and are in good shape overall, although there are some small chips and peen marks at the butt. This is a fine example of a five-screw K-38, and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
