Excellent Blued 32 S&W Smith & Wesson Late 2nd Model Safety Hammerless Revolver

Serial #170753, 32 S&W, 3” round ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is a late 2nd Model Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless Revolver with the characteristic pinned round blade front sight and patent dates listed on the rib manufactured from 1902-09 falling on the very end of that range with the serial number just over the suggested 170000 number dividing line.  In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 95-97% original blue with the grip frame toned to brown with a series of fine scratches of the right side, and slight edge wear. The trigger retains beautiful swirls of case-hardened colors. The diamond checkered hard rubber factory grips feature S&W monograms, they are correctly numbered to the gun, and rate excellent.  A very high condition and late model 2 Safety Hammerless or “Lemon Squeezer” in the less common blued finish that will add to any Smith collection.  FFL or C&R
