S&W M&P Post-War 1905 Pre-Model 10 Revolver
Serial #C168836, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This gun was built in the late 1940s - early 1950s and has retained 97-98% of the original blue finish with some thin silvering at the muzzle, along a few of the high edges, and a very mild turn-ring at the rear of the cylinder. The hammer and trigger retain a commensurate amount of the original color case-hardening. The diamond-center grips are correct, but numbered to a different gun, and exhibit minor handling marks and blemishes, along with some flattening of the points and a series of impact bruises at the butt on both panels. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a splendid Pre-Model 10 five-screw "Snubby," and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
