S&W Model 36 Chief’s Special Revolver Pre-67

Serial #420092, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, "no dash," pre-1967 revolver that retains 93-95% of the original blue finish, with some very mild silvering at the muzzle and a few of the high edges and projections.  A very faint turn-ring is present on the cylinder and there is a horizontal line on the cylinder where the blue is worn. The hammer and trigger have retained nearly all of the original color case-hardening.  The checkered, diamond-center grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior.  Both panels are in fine shape, with only a few very minor handling marks, and trace flattening to the points.  The lock-up is solid, and the revolver does not look like it was fired very much.  FFL or C&R
