Smith & Wesson 15-2 K-38 Combat Masterpiece 38 Spl 2 Inch Heavy Barrel C&R

Serial #K612547, .38 Special, 2 inch heavy pinned barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Smith & Wesson Model 15-2, the K-38 Combat Masterpiece revolver manufactured between 1964-67 featuring a serrated trigger, a rare option as identified by Supica & Nahas in The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson.  In excellent condition the barrel and frame retain about 95-97% of the original blue finish with some silvering on the high edges, a very slight turn ring and very mild use marks.  The trigger and hammer show generous amounts of case color.  The Diamond Center Checkered Walnut, Square Butt grips are numbered to a different gun but remain in near excellent condition with some flattening of the points and some missing chips to the bottom of the left stock.   Overall an excellent K-38 combat Masterpiece.  FFL or C&R
