WWI Era Smith & Wesson 32 Hand Ejector Model of 1903 5th Change C&R
Serial #259553, .32 S&W Long, 4.25 inch round, pinned barrel with an excellent bore. This is the Smith & Wesson Model of 1903 Hand Ejector, 5th change made from 1910-1917 with this one falling late in the serial number range. In excellent condition the 5 screw, round butt revolver built on an I frame retains virtually all, 97-99% of the original bright nickel finish with a slight turn ring and very light surface handling and use marks. The hammer and trigger show slightly muted case color. Interestingly this does not have the S&W trade mark under the thumbpiece nor on the side plate perhaps making this a transition sub-variant. The checkered walnut, diamond escutcheon, S&W monogram grips are near excellent with some mild wear to the checkering and light scratches with the patent nicely visible on the bottom βPAT. JUNE 5 1917β. A very interesting, non-fully marked 32 Hand Ejector in excellent condition and would be a great add to any S&W collection.
