S&W Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman Revolver

Serial #N236760, .357 Magnum, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a pinned and recessed revolver that has retained 98-99% of the original blue finish with some traces of silvering starting to appear on a few of the high and projecting edges. The cylinder has a light turn-ring, but the hammer and trigger have nearly all of the original color case-hardening remaining, and only some traces of silvering along the edges. The checkered S&W medallion wooden grips are in about fine shape, with only light wear and flattening of the points, although there is a small chip missing at the top of the right panel. Red paint has been added to the front sight for visibility as well. The lock-up is tight, and the revolver rates excellent overall. This is a really nice .357 Highway Patrolman and would make a splendid addition to a collection. FFL
