US Cartridge Co. 38 Long Rim Fire .38 RF Box Woodcut Label Ammo

This is a partial box of .38 Long rim fire (24 rounds) in the classic 1880's vintage "Woodcut" label box by the US Cartridge Company in Lowell, MA. The two color red and black label, two piece, box has excellent clear graphics depicting two hunting scenes, 6 guns and the ornate shield logo having red ink call outs for the "Metallic Cartridges" and "38/100 Calibre". The box retains 24 original rounds with raised "US" head stamp which are in very good condition. The box edges show some separation and early repair with tape on the inside top portion. A great looking and hard to find box.
