M1873 Trapdoor Cadet Socket Bayonet
This is an interesting style of the M1873 Trapdoor Cadet Socket Bayonet. I say that because this bayonet is not marked and in the white, it appears to be of new construction and not a sleeved M1855 with no marks at all. The dimensions are 19 3/8" over-all, 3" socket, .73" socket. Although the bayonet shows great age, it is in very good+ condition, great craftsmanship, with little signs of use and only light oxidation near the tip.
