Scarce U.S. Model 1873 Cadet Rifle Socket Bayonet
This bayonet is a scaled-down version of the issue M1873 socket bayonet. The socket length is 3.00 in. with a 16 1/4" blade and a socket ID of .76". The blade and socket are in the white and are in excellent condition with no chip or bends and the lightest of oxidation near the end of the blade. The ricasso is sharply marked US with no other markings. This bayonet will take a place in any collection.
