Belgium M1867/41 Albini- Braendlin Socket Bayonet w/ Scabbard

This is a M1867/41 Albini- Braendlin Socket Bayonet/Scabbard for the 11 mm. M1867 Albini-Braendlin rifle. This example is a conversion of the earlier M1841 socket bayonet, as is evidenced by the off-center bridge and brazing lines on the socket. The 18 1/4" blade is in very good condition with age spotting, nice tip and no nicks. The socket is also in very good condition with mostly strong stamping. The rare leather scabbard is in near excellent condition with fine stitching and nice patina. Together a nice example for any collection.
