British Flintlock Coach Pistol With Snap Bayonet

NSN, .62 Caliber, 9 1/8" barrel with a very good, lightly pitted bore.  This is an imposing pistol that has a lightly pitted, mottled gray patina on the barrel, lock and bayonet.  The proof stamps are crisp and clear on the barrel, as is the "WARRANTED" marking on the lock.  The top-mounted bayonet has a 6" angular blade with narrow fullers, and is held by a sliding catch at the breech.  The bayonet still deploys swiftly and securely, with the catch at the muzzle functioning properly.  The pin-fastened walnut stock has numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes scattered throughout, and the brass fittings have a fairly bright, yellow-ochre patina.  The pistol is accompanied by an original iron ramrod, and is a splendid example of a desirable, bayonet-equipped British pistol.  Antique
