Original Civil War Era Eley Brothers Colt Percussion Caps Partially Full Tin 250 Count Size

This is an original Civil War era tin of percussion caps manufactured in London by Eley Brothers.  The tin is partially full, 157 caps, labeled “Made expressly for / COLT's PT / Belt and Pocket / Pistols”.  It is a 1 inch tall tin, 250 count size.   The japanned tin remains in very good condition with some minor scratching of the finish.  The original green label is in very good condition with graphics with some missing pieces along the edges and overall clear and crisp graphics.  Perfect to pair with your antique Colt revolver especially for the cased sets.
